Zsófia is a certified dance instructor with 12 years' experience in practicing and performing historical dances. She also used to learn classical ballet and jazz ballet, Argentine tango, Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing, as well as Hungarian, Romanian, Luxembourgish and other European folk dances (1–7 years).
She obtained her dance instructor qualification in 2018 and taught court dances in a UNESCO ICH-project during the academic year 2017/2018. Since then, she held classes at Dance-Atmosphere (affiliated to DSFL) and dance sessions in the framework of the Hero's Journey, an eduTational program created by 2030whenigrowup.
You can spot her dancing in feature films such as The Beast in the Jungle by Amour Fou and Skin Walker by Calach Films and Caviar Films (in production). She also worked as a choreographer and dance coach in the latter. Zsófia represented Luxembourg with UGDA's folk dance group at the CIOFF Folkloriada in Mexico in 2016. She regularly performs at the Wiener Ball in Luxembourg and with the folklore group Vallée des Sept Châteaux at different events in the country.
Her wish is to show the beauty of European court dances to people in Luxembourg and to share the joy of dancing together. She would like to encourage everyone to try dancing and incorporate it into their weekly routine as a social activity that keeps the body healthy while elevating the spirit and pleasing the soul.
